Mary Weiserevans

Mary C.M. Weiser-Evans is the Charles Boettcher II Professor of Medicine in the Division of Renal Medicine and Hypertension at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. She received her B.S. from The Ohio State University and her M.S. and Ph.D. from Colorado State University. She was recruited to the University of Colorado School of Medicine to complete her postdoctoral fellowship in vascular biology and has spent the entirety of her scientific faculty career at CU. For more than 25 years, the research in the Weiser-Evans laboratory has focused on vascular biology, with particular emphasis on smooth muscle cell (SMC) signaling and understanding the regulation of SMC phenotypic modulation in disease.
